If you are seemingly on an alternate list at a V10 (no ding and no offer when both have gone out from your interview day) how often to you actually receive an offer? Should I just assume no offer is coming or is does it regularly happen where offers still come out a week or two (or more) later? Have an offer for a firm I like, but wondering if I should hold out hope for a few others.

Well, how long has it been? When I was going through OCI, I once received an offer a whole week after others heard. I was told the delay was because one of my partner interviewers was tardy in getting his eval in.Anonymous User wrote:If you are seemingly on an alternate list at a V10 (no ding and no offer when both have gone out from your interview day) how often to you actually receive an offer? If 2+ weeks without word, I'd assume ding.

What Goodwin does with one candidate does not reflect what will happen with every candidate or every firm.Anonymous User wrote:How does a firm moving fast not prove they will move fast?Lawstudent3692 wrote:Doesn't really prove they will move fast - Goodwin has a hiring meeting every Friday.Anonymous User wrote:I got my Goodwin offer on a Saturday from a Thursday CB. Jones Day CB last Monday...the recruiter said it could be as long as 2 weeks but I haven't heard. Should I give up hope at this point?
Really disappointed I haven't heard. I LOVED them.

CB last Tuesday, and I was told the same thing. Reached out to one of the rising 3Ls who summered there and she said it took about two weeks for her to hear back, and one of the attorneys I interviewed with mentioned that the hiring committee doesn't always meet every week. So I wouldn't lose hope at all.Anonymous User wrote:Jones Day CB last Monday...the recruiter said it could be as long as 2 weeks but I haven't heard. Should I give up hope at this point?

Any movement on Willkie or Shearman? Both firms seem to be quick on giving out offers, but have yet to hear of any going out
