I don't think we're done by any means. Haven't heard of a single JD callback and they usually throw out a handful.
JD = Jones Day? Those went out Friday.

Heard of some PH cb's day after the interviews.

Interesting that proskauer (JN) went out on two separate days. maybe they did it in two waves.

How many callbacks did people receive? It seems that most people that I know got less than 5 callbacks unless they had great grades

I have decent grades, not great by any measure. Have 6 call-backs so far. I've heard anywhere between 3-6 is the average.

Is there an average time for firms to send out offers after a call-back, or does it completely depend on the particular candidate and the particular firm?

While we're on the topic, what exactly is median? 3.35? Or something higher? Anyways, only 2 cbs from around 15

Alum here. You guys shouldn't be posting the median on a public forum. You should really think about why that's a bad idea  . I would delete the previous posts.

Yes, NYC callbacks went out a while ago. People have been doing the callbacks over the last few days already.

For the people posting your callback rate, any ideas why there were so good (1/2 approximately for some) or not so good for others? What was different in the interviews that went well v. what didn't? Any advice? Anything (besides grades) you wish you would have changed?

It could easily have to do with whether someone had more firms that were "safeties" or "targets" on their schedule at AJF rather than "reaches." For instance, if you're around median but doing screeners with Skadden, etc. then you won't have as great a callback ratio. Screeners tend to be about *first* grades and *then* personality, unless you do something really weird.

I know Latham call-backs went out last week, but has anyone heard if they've started sending out rejection letters? Or are they just not going to?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
