Bump - seems like at least some selections are being released on PIPER.

Do you think they posted interviews and alternates first and are now just doing the dings?

I'm surprised at how few I was selected for, but maybe we will know more on Wednesday?

Not Selected, Interview Selected, Alternate...

Is there a fourth like "Awaiting Response" or something?

FYI I just got another interview, so they aren't just rejecting now

What is considered a few vs. a lot of interviews? Not a lot of people from my school did Loyola PLIP, so I have no idea how to gauge....

Looking at the PLIP 2017 thing on here, it looks like good was 12+? But that is also TLSers, so that may be very skewed. I remember seeing somewhere that half the people who apply don't get interviews, so I think it's good if you get any. What really matters is if you interview well and can get the callbacks. You can have only one interview and get a callback, and there can be someone who had 15 interviews and got no callbacks.

Oh heads up:
For the "Alternates," if you click on the job listing, you can see where you are on the Alternate list. I am guessing that lower the number, the better.

Yes! They should have emailed you your spot on the WL as well. That's how I knew they were starting to post the interviews haha. We use 12twenty at my school for job apps too, and if you are #1 on the waitlist, you will be the next one to get an interview if someone drops.

What do you think the odds are of getting off the WL if you're the 8th alternate?

I only got an email for the alternate, nothing else.

I heard that anything in the single digits has a pretty good chance, but I might wait for someone more knowledgeable to weigh in.

I got a few and one alternate. Looks like all of mine are in except for Choate. Anyone know if there's a date on that?

When I said “a few,” I only had three interview sections and one alternate. I only applied to the top ones (15 total or so), but still. I don’t see any other ones that say “applied” so I guess I’m done.
