Third Year Corporate Associate - Skills Check

Post by Anonymous User » Fri May 25, 2018 1:26 am

I'm a current third year associate (Class of 2015) at a V30, doing finance/credit work. What sort of skills/abilities are expected out of a third year associate on deals? (i.e. somewhere between assembling signature page packets and doing simple diligence to taking the pen on the Purchase/Merger Agreement, Credit Agreement, Underwriting Agreement etc.)

Not particularly concerned that I am not getting enough substantive work, but just kind of curious how much/in what capacity a typical third year might be expected to contribute to a deal.
