No. Check above the law for how it has been done.

fam, let's stay focused on on bonus speculation.

Obviously we're looking at an across the board 4% increase to keep pace with inflation over 2015 and 2016, as well as a 4% across the board salary bump for the same reasons.

check what your employee handbook says now about future accruing/paying out vaca time. do labor and emp here and it is common to payout current vaca/change the policy to not allow cash payouts in the future.
Hah, BONED already.

Good work on the part of those Milbank LA partners, though - "let's screw over the associates and tell them it's because we're so flush - they'll think it's a good thing!"

Hope the bonuses are not too big. We would not want to put undue strain on the partnerships. Small gain for long term loss

Remember when rampant speculation here led to the alleged internal salary presentation from a certain comma-endowed firm regarding Biglaw to 190k?

We should do that again.

I hope to wake up to news on ATL about Cravath announcing (or an email from my firm announcing their match).

Really hope we get an arbitrary V100 firm that jumps the gun and announces last year's bonus scale. Then Cravath will be forced to either go over the top or just admit to their associates that they'll be paying bonuses on the Ballard Spahr scale this year.

Managing partner called to say that she was PROBABLY going to raise bonuses by 75%, but associates would have to agree to receive the money. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!
