S&C (D.C.) vs. Sidley (D.C.) for Lit

I'm having a tough time trying to decide between these two firms. My goal is to leave for a governmental position after a few years, probably something within the Justice Department. I really liked the people at both firms, and have friends at both trying to pull me in that direction. S&C of course has a small office in D.C., while Sidley's is much larger, but I see benefits in both of those.

Ultimately, I was hoping someone could tell me some differences between these two, including hours, face-time expectations, reputation, exit options, or anything else that might let me make a more informed decision.

Sidley is much better known and offers a broader range of practice in DC

Didn't even know S&C had a D.C. office, tbh.
