FWIW, W&C never asked me for an updated transcript during my summer with them. My mentor told me that they never asked him for a transcript when his clerking was winding down and he called to finally receive an offer. It was done as a matter of course.Anonymous User wrote:Previous anon. Have not actually heard of W&C/WLRK doing this, so your friend shouldn't worry. I only mentioned them by way of example because they were the only firms I could think of that might have any conceivable reason to legitimately care about a 0.2 drop to median, given their extreme 1L GPA requirements.Anonymous User wrote:Do W&C/WLRK do this? And yes, pretty sure everyone ITT is using W&C to refer to Williams & Connolly.

It's pretty reasonable to be concerned with this, even if you and your mentor didn't happen to get called. Tho tbf there's no indication OP works here.Anonymous User wrote:FWIW, W&C never asked me for an updated transcript during my summer with them. OP, I agree with the general advice above. I would add that you should look into seeing how many pass/fail credits you can take while still retaining honors eligibility. At my school we could take a chunk of easy credits pass/fail, including classes at the business school for law school credit. If you took an easy Pass each remaining semester, it would allow you to focus all of your time killing it on the graded classes, instead of stretching yourself thin. Just a thought.
