If there are alumni at a firm that you're reaching out to

Is it okay or would it ever blow up in your face to reach out to multiple people at the same time?

Say you email one alumnus and they haven't responded yet. Is there any way that it would be a bad idea to reach out to another alumnus at the firm? (sane, competent emails)

I usually send out multiple emails at once. I've never had a bad reaction; rather, it has helped every time.
