Anybody hear from Axinn, DPW NY, Cahill, S&C NY, or JD Chi? They're the only hold outs I have.
Axinn CB and offer this week.
What was the turnaround time on the axinn callback?
Axinn historically offers CB in the screener if during OCI, and that's when it happened for me. The offer was made at the end of the CB, but not sure how normal that is.
Welp, guess I can look forward to my Axinn ding. It was a nice CB, too.
Sorry, I hope it's different for you, or that my offer was unique for them. Maybe we were applying to different offices?
What office, if you don't mind saying?

Not NYC, but I won't say beyond that. Sorry.

That's all I needed to know! Congratulations! Don't know if Axinn is up there in your list, but they seem so phenomenal for an aspiring antitrust lawyer.

I interviewed at Willkie NY this week (not on a super day) and received an offer during the CB.

What were the initials of the interviewer who extended the offer?

Was it a super-day? I interviewed at the beginning of the week, and am hoping this isn't a bad sign

Seems like a lot of people get offers quickly after CB... Similiar to the screener-->cb timeframe. If it has been 3 days since your CB's but you've heard nothing, should you begin suspecting bad news?

Think it depends on the firm, when the hiring committee meets, and the market. Anecdotally, one non-NYC firm said to expect news two to three weeks after the CB

I think part of this is firm and timing dependent. Sometimes, the hiring committee meets more often than at other firms, as well as what queue of other CB recipients are ahead of you for the hiring committee to review. While I would not recommend necessarily being alarmed (as I can hardly imagine it would do any good), it might be helpful to do the post-CB efforts to get a foot in the door such as sending a thank you note if you feel that it has taken a bit longer than anticipated.

No. I did 2 CB on Tuesday, got offers today. It depends on the firm.

You could be on a waitlist. That happened to my friend. He got an offer after a couple people we knew had declined that firm's offer. But just for your own sanity maybe don't be too optimistic.

Not necessarily. Here on this forum have been multiple examples of candidates who did CBs on the same day only to receive offers several days apart. Happened to me personally earlier this week. Doubt these short delays are due to waitlisting - would expect much longer delays (think several weeks) if waitlist. Some interviewers are just slower to get evals in to the hiring committee; and some hiring committees only meet once or twice per week, meaning if your evals miss a committee meeting, your offer may be delayed by several days.

This is a good example of why TLS is helpful but over-checking it can lead to neurosis.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
