Are the firms from yesterday that we haven't heard back from pretty much done deals at this point?

I don't think that every NY firm from yesterday did callbacks, and I know for sure that a lot of DC (and other market) firms don't extend callback invitations until much later.Anonymous User wrote:Jones Day - NY - (HS & AD)

Yes it's far from a done deal unless you have confirmed that people who had the same interviewer as you have gotten CBs already. And even then it might not be a done deal. Many firms will take a week or more to extend CBs.Anonymous User wrote:I don't think that every NY firm from yesterday did callbacks, and I know for sure that a lot of DC (and other market) firms don't extend callback invitations until much later.Anonymous User wrote:Jones Day - NY - (HS & AD)

So many firms I interviewed w have popped up in here but none of the people so I'm holding out so much (probably false) hope lol. Holding out some maybe real hope for the firms that haven't popped up in here at all?! Ugh.Anonymous User wrote:Yes it's far from a done deal unless you have confirmed that people who had the same interviewer as you have gotten CBs already. And even then it might not be a done deal. Same boat. Do smaller NY firms generally tend to go slower than big ones?Anonymous User wrote:So many firms I interviewed w have popped up in here but none of the people so I'm holding out so much (probably false) hope lol. Re: NYU EIW 2017
Some DC firms specifically told me in callbacks to not panic if I haven't heard anything after a week or two. It seems like DC firms with primary offices in NY are moving faster, but that's entirely based on what I've been getting, not on any objective data.Anonymous User wrote:When is "much later"?Anonymous User wrote:I don't think that every NY firm from yesterday did callbacks, and I know for sure that a lot of DC (and other market) firms don't extend callback invitations until much later.Anonymous User wrote:Jones Day - NY - (HS & AD)
