Alum hiring/managing partner (Yes)
Alum partner (probably)
Alum non-partner, e.g., of counsel/associate (perhaps err on the side of no)
Then, for sake of discussion, because why must we always limit a thread only to the very narrow question asked by the OP?:
Non-alum hiring partner (Yes)
Non-alum partner (no)
Non-alum associate (no)
Seems reasonable to me.
