Anyone know what background check the CFPB does for honors attorneys? SF-85 or 86?

Same op. I have a second round with DOT for mid-October. I interviewed first round about a month ago and heard back this week. Radio silence from DOL, IRS, and CFPB.Anonymous User wrote:I applied to DOJ, DOT (interview extended a week after applying), DOL, FDIC (rejected within three days), IRS, and the CFPB.
DOJ is coming in this Thursday.

If you're traveling from outside of DC, how long did it take for them to follow up with you on plane tickets and stuff? When I set up my CB a week ago the woman I spoke to said their travel agency would contact me again to confirm the details but I haven't heard anything since then.Anonymous User wrote:CB email 9/7. Nope. The website has stated: "Continue to monitor our website for Chair's Attorney Honors opportunities" for months now. That being said, the Honors page was hidden (no linkage within the SEC website, only findable through google) up until 2-3 weeks ago. Hoping they post soon.Anonymous User wrote:Was SEC Honors Program even posted this year? ETA: I've been told by SEC attorneys that there is a hiring freeze and to not expect it to post.

DOL movement today (interview invite)
Anyone have a sense of the ratio between (screening) interview invitations and open spots for any of the CFPB offices and DOL?

Re: Honors Programs 2017-2018 (Non-DOJ)
I had a first-round interview with the DOT Honors program on July 24th. On Friday, September 29th, I was emailed about a second-round interview. They are conducting second-round interviews October 16th-27th. They are doing two interview sessions each day and there should be about 4 interviewees in each session. So it looks like they will be interviewing about 80 people for the 8-10 Honors Attorney positions available.
