For anyone who was selected as an OCIJ finalist and had their references checked. Did they call them or send an email? I just want to make sure that my references didn't get an email stuck in their spam. Also if it was an email did is come directly from OCIJ or through AVUE?

Haven’t had references checked.Anonymous User wrote:Is anyone an EOIR-OGC finalist yet? Is there any sense of what chances are of being offered the job if someone has been named a finalist for that subdivision specifically? Also if someone has been named a finalist, have their references been checked already?

SLIP only designates Tax generally, so I'd assume this is Honors.JGia1983 wrote:Is this for Honors Program or SLIP?Anonymous User wrote:Status changed to “Finalist” for Tax-Crim. Fingers crossed it turns into an offer.

They don’t give you an offer into a section. You get hired into CLB generally and then in the spring you submit which offices you’d like to work for and they Place you then. You could get placed in Fraud, National courts or CORPFIN. Also I don't believe they checked my references.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Which section?Anonymous User wrote:Just got an offer from CLB. I haven’t accepted yet.

Judging by Deana's post on Avue yesterday, it sounds like they've completed their designations but she said they could add more before the weekend. Fingers crossed for you!JGia1983 wrote:So if mine hasn’t hasn’t changed, I assume this is an indication that I’m out of the running, right?Anonymous User wrote:SLIP only designates Tax generally, so I'd assume this is Honors.JGia1983 wrote:Is this for Honors Program or SLIP?Anonymous User wrote:Status changed to “Finalist” for Tax-Crim. Avue is the site on which you submitted your application! There's a community board on there where Deana posts updates.JGia1983 wrote:I’m sorry but I’m not sure what Avue is.
