Summer associate background check
I just got offered a SA position and the firm is doing a background check. I'm slightly worried because I have a little credit card debt (6k~) and I know that they can access credit information. However, I make payments on it each month, and my credit history is otherwise good (paid a mortgage every month for years). Am I just worrying for no reason? Never been in legal trouble except for a DUI 9 years ago.

If your credit score is fine it shouldn't be a problem. But aren't credit card interest rates astronomical? Might be worth taking out more student loans to pay off that balance tbh...
