What is the "right reason" to lateral?

Postby Anonymous User » Sat Sep 10, 2016 10:53 am

Hey guys,

I've been practicing for about 5 years. I have 2 years of regional big law experience then moved in-house for roughly 2 years and I've been at my V100 firm for roughly a year. I actually like the partners I work for and I don't really mind the work. I just don't like living in the city I am in. I have solid references at my previous places.

Is is an acceptable answer to say that I don't like the city I am in? I feel like I look like a real flight risk as I have lived in 3 cities in 5 years.
