Salary Expectation at Boutique T&E Law Firm

I have the opportunity to join a well-regarded and nationally recognized T&E boutique law firm in a major legal market (think: NY/DC/CHI/SF/LA), and they in fact have already started the conversation about compensation. As someone who is transitioning back to legal practice from a quasi in-house role, what kind of offer should I expect and how much room is there for negotiation? Before my quasi in-house role, I practiced in T&E at AmLaw 100 and 200 firms for approximately ten years. Thanks.
