Is this too pushy?

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Sep 06, 2016 6:58 pm

TLS, I need your advice. I interned with a public interest organization over the summer and interviewed for a full-time position about a month ago. It has been complete radio silence since then. Should I reach out to the organization to see what's going on with my application? Would that be seen as too agressive? Should I just interpret this as an auto-ding?

Reach out. Public interest organizations often have a slower timeline than does the private sector. They have funding issues, etc, and other constraints.

"pushy" is both a sexist and ableist term. please strike it from your posting vocabulary.
