Quick OCI Advice for mid/small firms
Wanted to give all who are interviewing with a mid/small firm quick advice that I wish I knew. Although it seems obvious, make sure to ask many questions about the yield from previous summer associates. If the firm says they plan on hiring summers as FT Attorneys, ask specifically how many of the last summers they have hired. Ask specifically if they gave midway reviews for the summers they didn't hire and addressed any issues. If this is old news, then carry on, but if not make sure to add these questions to your list. Don't get screwed.
