I had 2 at DANY (both second round), 1 in Brooklyn (second round), 2 in Queens (both third round).

I know of other people who had drastically different experience so it seems to be very much luck of the draw.

At DANY what was the time frame between your first round and your second rd?

I heard less than a week later and had the interview about two weeks after that.

Wouldn't hurt. I did it for nyda last year after i didnt get an oci. Dinged 2 months later. Became an ada anyway.

What is the consensus on sending thank you notes after interviews? I have not been sending any, but my school keeps "encouraging" us to do so.

Received Queens rejection through snail mail today after OCI screening. Kind of surprised as I thought that was probably my best interview.

Has DANY been contacting everyone else's references? I just had the first round OCI interview last week and they've already contacted all of mine. Probably doesn't mean anything though.

I have it on extremely good authority that DANY has made several offers - which, given DANY's fondness for applicants with pending offers, it seems reasonable to assume other NYC offices have started as well.

I had a quick question regarding New York DA Offices. I am trying to be a Deputy DA in CA. This is more for my own curiosity. In CA, the different DA Offices are divided by county. I was wondering how New York DA Offices are divided? I keep hearing about different Burroughs, but that there is also a New York County DA's Office (DANY)? Thanks! I am legitly just curious.
