resume for 3L OCI

Is it normal to fully update your current job for 3L oci? Like should it just say the firm, title, and dates, or should you include the descriptions of what you have been doing during the summer?

I included work I'd been doing. But I was working in-house at a F500 company 2L summer and looking to switch to Biglaw (if that matters).
