Currently a 1L preparing for OCI.
Am I shooting myself in the foot by mentioning my current 1L biglaw summer gig in my cover letter? Im not at a T-14 and wanted to signal that i have some biglaw summer experience. I've been cautioned that mentioning another firm in my cover letter could be disastrous.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I did mention my 1L firm if it was in the same area as the other firms I was applying to. Didn't hurt me one bit--got interviews for all the firms in the area.
