I heard from the grapevines that someone got a Dechert Philly offer within 24 hours of the CB interview.

I still haven't heard from a few firms since OCI, should I just assume that I'm dinged? What are the chances of getting a CB 2-3 weeks later?

Re: Penn OCI 2016 (C/O 2018)
I have 13 OCI firms (out of about 30) that have not gotten back to me. I have great grades but shitty at interviewing so I wouldn't be surprised if a few of them are "waitlists" that are very unexcited about me but willing to hold onto the option. That's my theory at least--could just be a lot of dings without emails.Anonymous User wrote:I still haven't heard from a few firms since OCI, should I just assume that I'm dinged? Thanks for the advice! Felt bad about the late notice, but canceled.Anonymous User wrote:Hi there! I was in a similar situation, and CP&P recommended that I cancel any callback that I wouldn't realistically accept an offer from. It seems they would rather me notify them politely of a cancellation rather than waste attorney time on a candidate who wouldn't accept an offer. However, this might not necessarily apply if the callback you're trying to cancel is your NALP host firm--then maybe you should go ahead and do itAnonymous User wrote:Would be super grateful if someone could advise about the etiquette of canceling callbacks. My situation recently changed today after receiving an offer I'm very excited about. I have some callbacks set up for next week, as early as Monday, that I know I wouldn't take an offer from over the most recent one. I've read in some other threads that it's not that big of a deal to cancel, but... Monday... and then the host firm of the trip is later in the week, so if I go on Monday I feel like I can't really cancel with the firm that arranged the travel?
Also, travel's already booked and it's too soon for them to get a refund.
Uh, help?

Has anyone gotten a "thanks but no thanks" from Baker & McKenzie (NY) or Herbert Smith Freehills (NY)? I'm trying to gauge if I'm on some waitlist or they just didn't send out rejections yet.

Offers from Cozen and Young Conaway. Generally leaning toward Cozen. Anyone want to offer info on the two?

I haven't heard from them either. Assuming I got rejected but I might be wrong.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone gotten a "thanks but no thanks" from Baker & McKenzie (NY) or Herbert Smith Freehills (NY)? I'm trying to gauge if I'm on some waitlist or they just didn't send out rejections yet.

I really should have gotten an auto-ding based on my grades, but didn't. I don't think they sent it, then.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone gotten dinged by S&C NY? I haven't heard anything since OCI.
