Where's my strikeout fam at? I nominate myself as president.

But really, I assume most hope is lost at this point. Anyone know what to do :(

I interviewed with a lot of west coast firms too, so let's just blame it on StanFUrd

Ugh, I hate to hear that. But start mailing firms. There are still offers to be had. Mail biglaw. Network with GULC alums at midlaw firms. If you are not set on biglaw, apply to summer positions with the government. If you are pretty set on working at a firm, keep hustling! You only screened with, say, a dozen or so law firms. There are hundreds of other firms and offices. You can do this!

Has anyone heard anything about HP Enterprise either CB or ding. Even if it wasn't you have you heard for a friend. This is my last shot before I join the strikeout club.

Looks like Morgan Lewis sends out dings about 7-8 days after interviews. I'd expect we're going to see some movement by cob tomorrow.

Wait...could you have gotten a call back by snail mail? Or is that simply the realm of dings?

Struck out with NY except Baker Hostetler, which is radio silence, which I think is bad news considering how few they take.

Paul Hastings Palo Alto both cb'd and dinged already. If you haven't gotten any you're on a hold list.

Has anyone else been puzzled about why callbacks for certain firms, and dings from others? I did really well at EIW--I came out of it with 15 callbacks--so I don't think my interviewing skills were fundamentally flawed or anything. I got dings from firms like Cravath and S&C, which, okay, I'm not at the tippy-top of the class, but then I also got dings from Cadwalader and WilmerHale, both of which I thought were perfectly normal interviews. Then I get stopped halfway through my Latham interview to tell me that I have a callback if I want it, but then I hear nothing from Davis Polk. It's just weird, and seems very scattershot. Is it just a matter of whether you "hit it off" with that particular interviewer, and nothing else? It seems like a very random process.

I think I am more puzzled about how you've received 15 callbacks, whereas some people haven't even received one. I mean good for you, but your post probably rubbed some the wrong way.

How well was the interview going for them to stop you in the middle of it to offer you a callback? Like what was said that led up to that? Goodness.
