Transition from litigation to corporate

Postby Anonymous User » Thu Apr 14, 2016 5:41 pm

I'm currently a junior associate in a V100 litigation group, and looking at a few lateral opportunities (one to an advertising group and one to an IP and tech group, both transactional). I have advertising and some ip experience, but fairly little transactional experience.

Making the jump because I want stronger in-house opportunities, want more interesting substantive work, and want to do more advising of clients. That said, I do enjoy litigating generally, and am not sure how I will enjoy transactional work.

Wanted to see if anyone had similar experiences and could offer some advice.
