a) registered investment advisor
b) 3-4 years out of law school
c) low COL secondary-to-tertiary market
d) $170K range + discretionary bonus + participation in profits/incentive/carry + annual raises + good benefits (401K matching, health/dental/vision, vacation, no time entries, etc.)

If you don't mind questions, what does your firm target for your bonus? Also, did you come from biglaw? If so, how long were you at the firm for before moving in-house?

Out of order: The simple answer is yes (not a major market); approximately 3 years in private practice; TBD, I would safely bet the under on 25% of base for the discretionary bonus to start.

-Govt risk management/compliance/legal
-$80k (+ awesome govt benefits)
-Big market
-2nd year out of law school, passed the bar this year.

Note: no interest in traditional legal path, hence my current position.
