I'm looking at subletting an apartment through Brooklyn Law School this summer. The website is helpful and says to contact them after March 1st....just wondering if there are any tips or tricks I should know about or if I should be pretty much guaranteed something if I contact them in March. Thanks!

What are people doing to find housing for their summer in NYC. I have a studio in downtown DC but the supply and demand of DC housing v. NYC housing is not favorable so it seems. All the websites for apartment hunting that I have found or have been recommended to me haven't really been very helpful. Its likely in part because we're still more than 3 months out, but regardless, none of them seem to have many short term rentals.

You might check on corporate apartment/condos. I had to do that once, a bit expensive, but doable on a BL income. Mine was for LA, but NYC probably offers something similar.
