I'm looking at subletting an apartment through Brooklyn Law School this summer. The website is helpful and says to contact them after March 1st....just wondering if there are any tips or tricks I should know about or if I should be pretty much guaranteed something if I contact them in March. Thanks!

Its likely in part because we're still more than 3 months out, but regardless, none of them seem to have many short term rentals.
You might check on corporate apartment/condos. I had to do that once, a bit expensive, but doable on a BL income. Mine was for LA, but NYC probably offers something similar.

Thanks, I will look in to this! At this point I don't even know what 'a bit expensive' is just because I'm having a hard time pinning down what a realistic price is . . .

I have a 2br in Queens (20 minute subway ride to Midtown that I'm looking to swap for a place in DC. It's a great apartment in a great location at a great price - closer to midtown firms than Brooklyn!

I have a studio in Cambridge (30 min commute to downtown Boston) in a good building that I'm looking to sublet for the summer. I'll let it go for pretty cheap just to stop worrying about it.

Also looking for a place to stay in NYC with an easy commute to midtown.

Lemme know if you can help with either one!
