also I'm calling out the people who are submitting their direct applied callbacks/offers. that isn't useful and it's just bragging come on people.

Seriously, why would they even bother with the lie instead of handling it like every other firm? I'm dumb but I'm not that dumb.Anonymous User wrote:this spreadsheet thing is fucking hilarious and by fucking hilarious I mean what the fuck cadwalader i thought you loved me.

that was the most sociopathic thing a firm has done imho. "We take a long time to determine whom to give callbacks to" *hands out dinner invites on the spot to certain people*Anonymous User wrote:Gibson LA told me not to start freaking out if a callback doesn't come immediately, as they are planning to make decisions next week. Lies.

Re: Gibson reported callbacks--could definitely be (/is probably) a troll, but it's possible that the person was basing it off conversations at the dinner last night. I know my interviewers made multiple comments like "oh, when you come in, you'll have to meet X attorneys!" So, not a formal callback invite by any means, but I feel fairly confident about getting a CB.

I mean, maybe I'm too negative. But I swear I could hear the ding as soon as the guy told me that they'd let me know by next week, which was before I learned of the dinner invitations.

Well, not from this cycle but figured might as well let you kids know the reality of the situation rather than clinging onto false hope. As several of you have guessed, for Gibson, if you don't get a dinner invite, you will not get a CB. The interviewers generally decide on CBs after dinner. Lastly, for those who do get CBs, generally speaking, the dinner during the CB is when you should expect an offer if you are going to get one.

Do you mean the grade sheets? I'm looking for stats on how many people received callbacks and how many offers were made.Anonymous User wrote:There's that whole PDF with all the CB/offer stats for all the firms.

Re: SLS OCI '15
maybe since OCS is tracking CBs we can use this to track dings. That would at least be helpful for people who haven't heard anything from a firm.
I've personally gotten or heard of people getting dings from:
Skadden NYC
Covington DC

Did Orrick SF really only call back 1 person? Hope they'll end up giving out more CBs than that...
