OCI BidList Help

Post by Eveningstudent » Mon Jun 29, 2015 2:19 pm

Hey TLS,

Need some advice on my bid-list. Here is some information in regards to myself. I am a URM in the top 5% at Fordham. Assuming that I get an offer from my 1L SA, I'll have at least a 2L BigLaw SA secured for next summer. I like my 1L gig, but doing OCI anyways to see what else is out there and possibly split for next summer. Any advise is appreciated.

I mean isn't the vault rankings the way to go for top 5% at Fordham who wants New York. You either are getting biglaw or not from that point. You are above every large(so not wachtell) transactional firms cutoff(maybe not cravath) so grades aren;t going to be your deciding factor. Taking a safety isn't going to help if your weird.
