Initial DOT offers went out last Monday, 11/24, with acceptances due by Monday, 11/30. It is possible that some people did not accept the initial offer, and so they may be extending more offers this week.Anonymous User wrote:Any updates on DOT or HUD?

Re: Government Honors Programs - other than DOJ (2015-2016 Cycle)
I haven't heard anything still. I'm the one that posted the reply from my interviewer last week that said:Anonymous User wrote:Anyone else hear good news/bad news about 3d round NOAA?
"No notifications have been sent out, ___. We are waiting for word from our General Counsel.
We will keep you updated."
Literally a couple of hours later, Nebby posted that he had gotten an email about doing a 3rd round interview, so I'm guessing they're reaching out to their top candidates first to make sure they have 15 interviewees before they notify everyone else that they're out. I accepted another job this week, so I'm not stressing about this anymore, but best of luck! Hopefully lots of people have already accepted other offers and you'll move up the list! I think NOAA would be a great place to work, but I wasn't going to turn down a job I'm excited about for the possibility of getting a 3rd round interview.

No word about FTC here. I don't think they've given any offers yet. LOCI?

Huge congratulations! Which Region? Or is it headquarters? I'm waiting to hear back from an interview I did at a Regional Office.Anonymous User wrote:No, I got an EPA Fellowship. Any updates from DOL? the last info I received was that I was under consideration by the selection committee. Does anyone know how many apps make it to this stage? I heard from someone in last years program that it can take up till Feb/March for offers

IDK, I feel like they're waiting for the omnibus bill. They're an independent agency, so that's more imporant for them. Highway bill just went through, and the omnibus is going next.Anonymous User wrote:No word about FTC here. I don't think they've given any offers yet. LOCI?

I can confirm the timeline a bit. My friend who was under consideration two years ago did not get her offer until March.Anonymous User wrote:Any updates from DOL? the last info I received was that I was under consideration by the selection committee. Anything on HUD? I don't think my references were ever contacted (they never told me). So weird...

HUD said sometime in mid-December. Judging from what threads in past years have said, decisions usually come out on a Friday right around this time; I'm thinking this Friday or next.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
