Could someone with a DOL regional offer please be so kind as to confirm and let the rest of us who haven't heard anything know, so we can stop hoping and move on :|

For Usace: I interviewed at one of the national capital region offices and have been contacted by mobile and New England for interviews. Not California but that is my update so far.

I applied for EPA OGC but haven't heard anything yet. Application closes Feb. 1st so I doubt we'll hear anything before then.

How about EPA Region 10 or 8 fellowships?

Heard they've whittled it down, but not sure if they're done making offers yet
Has anyone who interviewed with FDIC received a rejection yet?
No rejection/anything for me...
I'm guessing still nothing from the FDIC for anyone here? I tried to follow-up with my interviewer and admin who set it up, but haven't ever heard back. Doubt that's a positive, but closure would be nice. Anyone get any follow-up info or update on their originally stated Dec-Jan offer timeline?

CONGRATS! I've heard great things from several attorneys with the SEC. I know they take a lot of honors interns, but it's the best way to get your foot in the door early and is hard to beat if you want to work in the public sector and/or securities!

I had a phone interview for Region 10 a couple of weeks ago. They said they selected 20 people for phone interviews, may or may not have a second round of phone interviews around the end of February, and expected to invite about 5 people to Seattle for a final interview in March.

For EPA OGC, I got a response to my email that just said "thank you." No further details.

No word from Region 8 yet.

The waiting process for these programs is absolutely brutal.

If you don't mind, could you share which regional office?

I have not heard back yet. I applied last year as well, and was not rejected until around March 20, so they might take a while. I imagine they get a lot of applications.

Reporting back; Region 8 rejected me today without an interview.

Got a call this afternoon to schedule a phone interview for next week.

Just curious, when did you apply? I emailed my application right on the Feb 1 deadline. Does anybody know if that makes a difference?

And can we get any hint of what your credentials are? GPA, school rank, etc?

I emailed my application on Feb 1 as well. I'm top 25% at a regional flagship T-50, law review editorial board, significant prior work experience, couple of federal regulatory internships (but not EPA). Frankly, I was a bit surprised to get the call; my resume doesn't exactly scream "future environmental lawyer."

Finally got a rejection from FDIC (dated late Feb); for any of those still holding out hope, good luck
