Dumb question perhaps but how come there is wait list movement? I thought we weren't allowed to drop anything at this point? Or are firms just adding extra slots?

My causation/correlation hypothesis is that firms have added slots, because each extra interview I've received has come after emailing a previous networking contact at the firm.

I've gotten three adds off of waitlists and haven't contacted anyone or know anyone at those firms.

Are you planning to bring cover letters and/or resumes to every screener, even if they are not requested on Symplicity? Is one (or both) of those just assumed to be presented by an interviewee in the minds of some employers?

I would say resume for all, cover letters as requested--you should have extra resumes regardless for suites and such.

3L here - you should have copies of your resume AND cover letter for every interview. All on 'resume' paper.
