Did you have a Bronx third round?

Would also like to know if you had a third round, if you don't mind.

Last day to hear anything before the holidays, lets go offices!

Could those who have received Manhattan offers help a brother out and PM me? Thanks.

I interned at DANY and had the same impression of the ADAs. Maybe I just got incredibly lucky with my trial bureau placement (or prestige douches wouldn't lower themselves to talk to interns), but every ADA I interacted with was dedicated to the work, clearly intelligent, helpful, and welcoming.

I've also heard (from ADAs) that they're purposefully very aggressive/confrontational in interviews, but it's mostly just an act.

Also - again, maybe just a function of the trial bureau I was in, but no one in the handful of ADAs I talked to about their long term plans (maybe 8 or 9 of them) were interested in white collar.

For anyone considering Suffolk (NY), I have it on good authority the DA is about to be indicted by the Feds. If true it should weigh into your decision.

I'd take this "I have it on good authority" thing with a grain of salt, but most likely related to this fiasco.

Related but it's just the tip of the iceberg.

There was a very big development today that took it from a "maybe" to a "probably".

Anymore and given my other posts but I risk putting myself.

I have a 3rd round interview with Manhattan DA's office . I have dressed pretty conservatively for my previous two interviews. The second round was with an all female panel. I'd like to hit a home run on this third round interview so I was thinking of wearing a blouse ( which might be considered a little revealing) How many open buttons is too much ? I really want to accentuate my best features. Thanks!

Uhh, like the town in France?

But if not a trollpost, I don't know. I'm a guy, but it seems very risky. Why not just wear what got you there? If I was an interviewer and for a second thought that you were actively trying to "accentuate your best features" to get the job, I would consider it unprofessional and think you were somewhat insecure.

Brest like in b-rest, where you purposely "accentuate your best features" by leaning against something. :P

Has anyone heard anything recently or are all offices pretty much on holiday hiatus? Had my final Bronx round early December-ish and starting to lose hope...

I got a ding from DANY yesterday. I accepted my Bronx offer today. My guess is that Bronx will be making more offers soonish. Maybe just after Jan 1 since people are out of the office.

How'd they ding you, and how many rounds did you have?

For my ding, I got an email with an attached PDF. I had completed two rounds with them. I had also told them that I had an offer that I need to respond to by Dec. 30.

Dinged from Manhattan. Completed 3rd Round. Rejection by email and letter.
Accepted Bronx. Still pretty ecstatic with my second choice.

Sorry for that. Make sure to apply to Greater Boston. They're just starting to evaluate applications.

Also check this ADA compilation out. It's the most updated version I could find, and still good.

Just wanted to chime in to say that both Middlesex County (MA) and Suffolk County (MA) have already begun reviewing applications. I had interviews with each. No word back yet about whether I made it onto the next round.

Friend got a rejection letter from Queens DA on Friday.
Seems like they really aren't hiring much?
