Yes, had third round today. Because of green room situation (explained above) was waiting with 4 other people, and saw the next group of 5 coming in afterwards. Unfortunately I have no idea how long they typically take to get back to you besides the rare 3 hours later call, and apparently some have been waiting since November.Anonymous User wrote:Anonymous User wrote:I can confirm Bronx- I know of one offer (the person did not have a competing offer).
Had my third round today and there were a ton of other people there so hopefully more soon?
You had third round in Bronx today?
So it seems to me that besides the select few who got a call a few hours later, they haven't made any decisions yet.

Yea I know folks who are ADA's in the Bronx now who got offers two weeks after their interviews to one month before start date so Bronx seems all over the place.
I had my last interview in November and I'm pending with DANY so I was really hoping to hear something soon.

What's the protocol for when an office straight up ignores all communication with you? Both calls and emails, for months. At this stage, if an offer comes down (from another office), I'm going to be multiple rounds behind for the office I really wanted to end up at.sd5289 wrote: ETA: for those of you waiting months on getting a response back and you're in the earlier stages, don't be afraid to call in and politely ask where you are in the process. Either they'll be able to tell you something or they won't be able to. Especially with the Queens office as there is only one person who handles all that (she's extremely nice, but obviously having to field numerous questions and applications each year).

Worked at Kings County (Brooklyn) as an undergrad.
Absolutely worst place to work. Nobody gives a shit about you and instead of trying to mentor you, they're just hiring to get free labor. There was no direct supervisors so nobody knew when I came in or when I left besides the sign-in sheet they had at the front desk.
New York County DA (Manhattan) has a much better reputation.

Miami offer in person, during my 3rd round interview last week with just the State Attorney.
Bronx offer over the phone, 2-3 weeks after my 3rd round interview with the District Attorney & Company.

For the people who have received offers from the Bronx DA's office, did you have and inform them of competing offers?

And in that same vein, did you follow up with them at all after your third round?

Re: District Attorney Offices 2016
Also just received a Bx offer this "wave".
Did not follow up after 3rd as I didnt have a competing offer. I legitimately expected offers to go out after Clark was sworn in. I also wanted to give other offices a chance to "catch up" on rounds.
Interviewed sometime in November.
Based on my offer deadline and the spurt of offers this week, expect a further wave* of hires right around Christmas (or New Years).
*Just a guess, they might just be offering straight through.

Anyone heard anything final from Philly? Had my final round three weeks ago. They said we would know "by the holidays"; but it seems that's what people last year heard, and they weren't getting offers until mid-January....

Re: District Attorney Offices 2016
I just got an email back from the recruiter at Miami SAO. No decision has been made about whether there will be a March hiring class, and no news about offers. Said he hopes to have news by the end of the year. Womp.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
