Aww, it's so rare for us GULC'ers not to get considered TTT here. Thanks.
First teir toilet.
Yes I'm at a "Strong Regional" on scholarship but the goal going into this was to be at my local DA's and thus, I went to the local school

As far as private practice is concerned, the market is so unbelievably over-saturated that employers can really do whatever they want. The bi-modal salary curve is no joke.

EDIT: Effingan, see above about the bi-modal distribution. Per the stats, the "typical" employment outcome outside of biglaw is a salary running between 40-60k.

That said, and I don't have numbers to back it up, I suspect the number of people making below 40k is much, much higher than the stats would indicate - simply because at that point most people aren't reporting their employment outcomes, or because their income isn't predictable to a point where they can report it.

Part of my position comes from what I am seeing as a recent grad from a T20. Pretty much everyone I know either is unemployed or has a clerkship/biglaw.
That's shocking. I thought Minnesota had a decent local market or non-"biglaw" firms. You're suggesting like 75-80% of the class is or appears to be unemployed. How is that possible

You're not at a strong regional. Vanderbilt is a strong regional. You're at a TTT. You should realistically appreciate your situation.

grades?
He said that's he's like below median at a TTTT or something (but apparently that was a lie?). It's documented here:

Not sure this is worth your time DF, it's hard to figure out what's troll and what's not with this one

Eta: above at a TTT, I was mistaken

"Just Above Medium at TTT." --> http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 3&t=241162

Very humorous thread if I do say so myself.
