100% offer rates last year across the board, as far as I know. Had a lot of people go clerk and some go on to other firms though.ProfBono wrote:Yeah, I just checked NALP too, you're most likely right. Are Vault stats really that unreliable? Actually, it knocks out almost 75% of firms. Now we basically know LA Spring is either very prestigious, at a V99 or V100 firm, or enjoying DLA Piper!Capitol_Idea wrote:Careful not to out yourself - that statement narrows down who you work for to only 90+% of the Vwhatevers.LA Spring wrote:No change. Re: VAULT 2016 rankings
I am not in BIGBIG law but I have a very good friend that has been sitting at the desk with nothing to do for the last week. You would think the firm was going under, so I am relieved that their rank remains at status quo. Not fun hanging with someone who is depressed. As best as I can tell satellite market workloads are not necessarily in lockstep with the bigger home market. Actually, it’s been slow here too for the last few days — and we’re not dependent on bankruptcy (as that firm that just canned +200). Wonder what’s up. Perhaps its slower in the summer?Capitol_Idea wrote:Careful not to out yourself - that statement narrows down who you work for to only 90+% of the Vwhatevers.LA Spring wrote:No change. Relieved.

Chances of offer increase because now Covington must take desperate measures to maintain its associate numbers in anticipation of all the quality SAs fleeing to V12s at 3L OCI.Anonymous User wrote:Covington dropped one spot...

Re: VAULT 2016 rankings
Oh, I heard about that. I'm told that managing partner of W&C actually emailed Vault about its methodology. Turns out that there was a miscalculation--not only is Covington not first, but it actually fell to fourth (behind W&C, Wilmer, and A&P). Vault is releasing a correction early next week. It's going to be embarrassing for both Vault and Covington.Anonymous User wrote:DC rankings came out.
