Any DC Advice would be appreciated:

Top 1/3rd at MVPB, LR, good WE. Any shot for DC? Looking for good lit. Backup is NY.

I think it makes a pretty big difference which of those four schools you're at. Still, the answer will be some variation of "you're in the running for the less selective firms but it's far from guaranteed, and you better hustle."

Above DC poster. I go to Penn. LR doesn't help out? I thought that's the position I was in before LR.

If your callback invitation says something like "four interviews from 10:00 - 12:00," does that mean you're having lunch at noon, or no lunch, generally? Same question with afternoon CBs that end at 4:30.

I've had both lunch and no lunch with that kind of schedule. The CBs where I had lunch they told me I would be having lunch beforehand.

Generally I had lunch with morning CBs and no meal for afternoon ones. But as Zuck said they always said in the schedule if there was lunch

Also I know of at least one of large firm that doesn't do lunch for CBs.

How should you feel if you only have 5 big law firms coming to your OCI .... and you know two of them already have full classes in your market?

Relieved that you took TLS advice, aren't relying on OCI, and have already mass-mailed all the firms in your market and every other market. That, or panicked.

Whose OCI is coming up first? Are you doing rain dances for callbacks yet?

I don't know if it's first, but Duke's begins two weeks from today.

I've been having a lot of luck the past couple of days setting up phone calls with alumni at the firms I'm interviewing with - 8 calls scheduled for the next week or so. After a long dry spell of not getting responses from attorneys, I was sure I was out of luck.

In other words, keep hustling! It will pay off!

Yeah, places that I already had screeners lined up through OCI. Just looking to learn more about the firm and how it is for my target practice area(s).

I'm still waiting on a grade that could (if good) significantly impact my transcript. Also just the way my transcript is laid out the grade looks really weird to be missing. It's a class very relevant to what I'm bidding on (this isn't what I'm doing but--like it's essentially white collar crime and I'm going into interviews saying I want to do white collar crime). Last year this professor apparently didn't get grades out until after OCI.

what would people do in this situation. I already emailed her Monday to ask if we should expect grades before OCI. OCI is in two weeks but apparently she is going away for all of august.

I'm not sure I understand the question. What do you mean by "What would people do in this situation?"

Like, what are the options?

How much of a boost is law review? Assuming you're median at one of VPD.
I'm guessing not much.

Why do some firms insist on focusing on behavioral questions? I hate that shit. It makes the interview so rigid and stiff.

How many screeners is too many screeners?
I'm at around bottom 1/3 and so far I'm scheduled for 35+ screen interviews and looking to add more. Is this a good or bad idea?
Note: The screeners do not include firms with hard grade cutoffs (e.g. MTO, GDC, S&C).

I had around that many screeners (maybe a little more) and ended up with 4 CBs and 2 offers

It's a good idea. It's a numbers game, especially if you're bottom 1/3, and the more interviews you get, the better your chances. Don't stop hustling until you have an offer in hand.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
