How was this announced (I left earlyish)? Wondering for TX specifically.

Welp. Got 2 CBs--one from a V10, one from a V100. Had 27 interviews. Does this process make any sense to anyone? The V10 has a high cb-->offer ratio (although my grades are below their average); should I feel relatively safe with these two CBs (with hopefully a couple more coming)?

Is there anyway to get a CB when you didn't get one? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Don't write off your chances at CB's yet, unless you've been dinged... especially if you are in any market (fully or partially) other than NYC

(Poster above with 2 CBs)

2 H/8 P, NYC and a secondary market. Both CBs in NY

Do grades matter much during CBs? Or are we all pretty much on equal footing at that point?

Does resume collect actually lead to any CB's?

And if so, is there any reason not to bid on all of them?

radio silence for me for so many firms that already gave CBs and Dings. It's like applying for law school all over again, I'm stuck in limbo.

Depends on the firm. I know some firms use the screener almost exclusively as a way to read transcripts and resumes. Other firms I have heard the screeners don't even look at transcripts, and save that for the callbacks. Why they would do that is beyond me.

Most likely if you have a CB you are beyond the stage of grades holding you back.

Nah.

1) Sure. I think they often do a phone screener first before flying you out.

2) No: it's the easiest way to cast a wide net. Absolutely you should do it if you're not confident in your CBs.
