Is there any use in following up with firms we still haven't heard back from? what would that email look like?

I have an interview scheduled for September 3 with a firm I'm very much interested in. Do y'all think thats too late in the cycle? Worth trying to push it up?

Can't hurt to ask -- worst they can do is say they are full. I don't think Sept 3 is terrible though.

No that's fine especially for big firms, but asking for the push-up would indicate particular interest so why not? I rescheduled a CB with a firm last year and got an offer despite a mediocre callback and I wouldn't be surprised if me moving it earlier helped.

You can a full week after the screener if you really want to but I think they've already written their report to recruiting so I don't think there's a ton of value. As far as content I think Irene has a format in some powerpoint slide somewhere on CSM

I've been going through the CSM resources but haven't found this yet – does anyone know where it is? Or have a link to another source on this? (specifically wondering for purposes of trying to do interviews in a non-NYC market in 1 trip)
