I wonder if firms flag candidates they are not that interested in. I might be paranoid but seriously, pushing us back after labor day? Feels like most slots will be fill in a month...

Why give a CB to someone you aren't that interested in? Also, don't forget other schools have OCI earlier than us.
Checking in again - any news from Latham or OMM Century City? What about Gibson Dunn LA?
Gibson LA CBs went out this past weekend. I know one person with a Latahm LA CB (he got it the night of the interview). Haven't heard from Latham or OMM LA yet (had happy hour with OMM LA on Friday night)

Did you guys get CBs at firms you actually had near the top of your bidlist? My list was a flame. I'm grateful for the # of CBs but it's ironic.

I just checked and I got CBs at
12, 17, 19, 21, 24, 31, 32 and 43.

Yeah, I have some pretty late callbacks too but then I remember that we're dealing with a lot of other schools that had EIW two weeks ago or the beginning of last week. The larger firms probably have a quota from each school that they try to get, so if all NYU kids are in the same boat, I don't think it's that bad. I'd probably worry if they're pushing into mid-September though, but they wouldn't be extending CBs that late if they weren't serious about possibly hiring you. Assuming 2 associates/30mins, they're investing a lot of money getting to know you.

I have cbs on September 10th and 11th (both in DC). Lots of firms don't have spots open earlier! I think those of us with later callbacks should still be okay, as long as most of the NYU people are also later on.
