Has anyone heard back from Gunderson (callbacks or offers)? Do CA firms typically take longer to get back to people?

Are you supposed to pick up the phone for offer calls, or let it go to voicemail?

Re: Columbia EIP 2015
I've been letting it go to voicemail, then shooting the partner who called a follow-up email saying essentially "thanks, received your message, I'm excited about the firm" (I'm sure a follow-up phone call would be fine too).

FYI for anyone freaking out, last year they made a few calls tuesday morning as well from the all day sat interviews (although no guarantee they will repeat that practice).Anonymous User wrote:CSM Saturday callback offers coming out.

Re: Columbia EIP 2015
If we've decided to accept an offer, do we need to wait for the official offer letter to arrive in the mail? Or can we just email the recruiter back and say I accept? I'd rather just have everything settled and done (it's been a week since getting the unofficial offer).

In re: CSM, I got the offer letter about a week and a half after same day offer- I wouldn't be too concerned. Some firms will email you a copy of the acceptance letter as an attachment.
Good luck!

Meh, I'm not sure that they can 'forget' to do that. That would be a serious tech fail -- I think the more likely(?) explanation is that you're in holding limbo, like you're a reserve if they don't like as many callback students as they hope

"Trying to track recruiting times" is largely futile imo. Timelines vary wildly not only from firm to firm, but also candidate by candidate.

but as this point, haven't they scheduled enough callbacks to know whether they need to be taking people off of this mythical hold list?Anonymous User wrote:Meh, I'm not sure that they can 'forget' to do that. Re: Columbia EIP 2015
Students cancel callbacks all the time. Firms want to make sure that these callbacks actually happen and enough offers go out. Wouldn't make sense for them to outright reject borderline candidates before they are comfortable that the numbers will yield them the right amount of 2016 SAs.Anonymous User wrote:but as this point, haven't they scheduled enough callbacks to know whether they need to be taking people off of this mythical hold list?Anonymous User wrote:Meh, I'm not sure that they can 'forget' to do that. Does anyone have an educated guess on what the average number of callbacks or offers is?
