What have people heard from LA firms? I've heard Skadden, Latham, Kirkland, and Paul Hastings have extended CB invitations...any others?

if the trend continues, hopefully it won't. I have 2 dings and 0 callbacks and a rapidly approaching freakout to show for my EIP performance.

There is still a lot of time, no one needs to freak out yet. You just need one offer and I've heard callbacks can come up to a week or more after interviews.

Have NY offices for Cleary and Ropes & Gray sent out rejection emails yet? Wondering why I haven't got dinged yet.

I interviewed as a 3L at a firm that dinged me as a 2L and the first interviewer on the callback somehow had only my 2L resume in front of her and started asking about my 1L summer position. So it appears they definitely keep everything on file.

Is there any consensus on whether it's better to do a callback during a firm's "super day" vs. any other callback day?

Lol who knows. The process is crazy subjective and makes no sense so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But anyway, I had a ding from a screener last year that went very well and I had the grades for the place and who knows what happened. It's definitely not accidental, but don't read too much into it. Just happens sometimes.

Same, dinged at Deb, I don't have great grades but I feel they're about mid-range for the place, also my interview with them was one of my better interviews.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
