For NYC firms, what's the usual timeline like for CB-->offer at this point?

I'm not really sure re: NYC since I'm in SF, but I've gotten some calls this month from firms I had CBs with in Sept. asking if I'm still interested. Seems to be a little bit more stretched out than 2L OCI.

then I don't feel so bad at my T20 being dead either. I mean I gave up on big law a long time ago so I don't even care any more, but now even getting any job is hard....

How does the timeline for 3L OCI work?

I'm at a firm that likes to see an offer accepted on the spot at the end of the summer. How would one trade up to a different firm at a place like this? Verbally accept the offer on the spot, then renege on it later if another offer comes around?
