Same, but I received Cooley early on (probably about a month ago now), and Debevoise today.

Bit of a dilemma:
I got an offer at my summer job at a B4 accounting firm. However, they expect a reply by the 31st of August and will not give any extensions. I don't want to return because of money.
I have a second round interview set up with an MBB on September 9th. If it comes up (which it may not), how do I deal with questions re: the offer/acceptance timeline? I will basically be going into the second round with the offer from B4 already accepted.

Thanks!

Accept the B4 offer then reneg for MBB. Also, stats on getting traction with MBB? I gave up since I'm not at T6, possibly regretting my decision.

I got an interview with MBB from a T14 with decent grades but not like elite or anything. They dont care about grades as much as i think they do work history and niche.

Sorry if I wasn't clear--that's my plan. I'm just wondering how to respond if someone at the MBB interview asks me when I have to get back to the B4, since I will have already responded.

Stats: t10 median-ish, worked and lived abroad before law school, which helped. I think also working in a B4 helped too.

Like the anon above me, I think they care more about certain softs than law firms do.

They would automatically assume that you haven't accepted the offer, which is why you are interviewing with the MBB. If you don't bring up the topic, they won't either.

How long did it take you to prepare for the first round?

First round was just a 10 minute phone convo with an associate/partner. I researched the firm and emphasized my quant skills.

Why is corporate so sought after and not litigation? Is corporate really growing that much - most of the students from my T14 class (and at my SA class) were all gunning for corporate. I guess I thought there would be more litigation openings in light of the higher numbers of students (at least from what I have seen) going for corp.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
