If one has two callbacks with one day in between on the same trip to New York, will the firms split that middle hotel night or do we need to figure something out ourselves?

Ex: Callback on Tuesday, so firm pays for hotel Monday night. Callback on Thursday, so firm pays for hotel Wednesday night. What to do about Tuesday night?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was an accident. Why would anyone do something like that intentionally? We'll all find out about who killed it at AJF through the grapevine once everyone's back in Ithaca.

First, it's not a humble brag. Second, I doubt this was intentional. Particularly from this individual.

You guys are seriously using this thread to personally attack a classmate? Seriously pathetic. Way to make Cornell look low.

You would think you would be extra careful replying to that kind of e-mail so you wouldn't make that kind of mistake, no?

You really think it was on purpose? Really cynical of you if so.

Also, there's a lot of questionable anon use going on in here.

Even so, he was sending that from his phone (why is a different question but whatever), so it's probably harder to tell on that level. I do think this was clearly unintentional, but for everyones sake we should drop this one. It really doesn't do anyone any good to hyper-focus on this...

I take it no movement for CBs tends to happen on weekends?

i know someone on the last page posted about a PW ding in the morning, so it's possible that CB may also move during the weekend? That being said, highly doubtful.

Does anyone know whether callbacks are ever waitlisted? Or whether different interviewers can move at very different paces? Some firms are out but not the all interviewers; wondering if one still gets a shot

Keep in mind that TLS is a very self-selecting sample. There is always the possibility that callbacks went out for your interviewer but no one who posts on TLS actually got one (or interviewed there for that matter).

I also had a question about a possible "waitlist" because there is one firm where others have reported callbacks/dings and I haven't received either yet.

I've never heard of a WL btwn AJF-callback; and because there's a ton of other OCI's in August, I doubt they'd hold on to a name for too long as they meet more candidates at top schools - although it's only been a few days. But there's definitely a WL btwn callback-offer/rejection at some firms (I know of that at MoFo and Proskauer, at least for my year). Sometimes firms just never get back to you, other times the same firm can send you a rejection email 3x (both happened w me).

Anyone had an S&C callback/offer yet? Trying to figure out if they still make on the spot offers or not.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
