Anyone receive an offer at Baker McKenzie Chicago's office recently? I had my cb last week and still no word, though I realize Chicago firms are pretty slow.

Re: Northwestern OCI 2015
I posted before, but I and a few other people had same-day offers. The recruiter told me at my callback that it would be a ~2 week turnaround though (I was called by the hiring partner, so I don't know if the recruiter was telling me worst-case scenario, or if it was simple miscommunication).Anonymous User wrote:Anyone receive an offer at Baker McKenzie Chicago's office recently? Re: Northwestern OCI 2015
I must have missed the posts. There were a couple that I thought were talking about the NYC office. Interestingly, one of the interviewers seem to suggest that 2 weeks was best case scenario. When did you have your cb?Anonymous User wrote:I posted before, but I and a few other people had same-day offers. Just got a call for cb from Pircher Nichols on Friday, so sounds like lots of firms are doing second rounds now. Hang in there everyone!

Hey 3Ls, is now about the time that we can safely assume that silence post-screener counts as a ding?

I was told probably early October, no later than mid October. Anyone have any insight into the fellowship program at Seyfarth?

Re: Northwestern OCI 2015
I had a friend who did it last summer, so feel free to take my insights with a grain of salt. s/he really liked the firm. Small class size, and doesn't pay full pro-rated salary. But overall got good work/experience and ended up with a FT offer. s/he is happy with experience/result.

Re: Northwestern OCI 2015
For Chicago office, does anybody have an idea about its SA class size for 2016? I assume 2-3 for L&E / 2-3 for Lit / 1 for Corp but if some of you asked during an interview, please share! Thanks!

No. I emailed them last week asking for an update and they said "we hope to have answers tomorrow..." That was over a week ago. Not impressed.Anonymous User wrote:anyone get dinged from schiff after CB yet? email or snail mail?

I massmailed them a while ago and they contacted me to schedule an interview. I had already accepted another offer but I wanted to share the intel with people who could use it. No idea if they're still looking for people now.Anonymous User wrote:how do you know this?Anonymous User wrote:McGuireWoods Chicago is still looking for people to interview
Vedder Price Chicago contacted me a couple days ago, so they're probably still looking.
