Yeah, in the "Interview Dates" column it says Scheduled for July 25th and it also shows up in the "Scheduled Interviews" tab at the top.Anonymous User wrote:awesome! where does a lottery interview show up? does it just change to "scheduled for july 25th"?
Did anyone else get new interviews through lottery?

Same here. Woot!Anonymous User wrote:Estimated slots just fluctuated! Got my #1 bid through lottery!
If you got the firm via lottery it will show up as "scheduled for the 25th" despite a "not invited" message in the adjacent column.Anonymous User wrote:awesome! where does a lottery interview show up? does it just change to "scheduled for july 25th"?

if there are still 2L spots left (it doesn't say 0) does that mean lottery selections are still coming out? or are they all generally released at the same time/we're out of luck if we didn't get anything yet?

I'm assuming those are the number of spots open for people who were selected as "alternates."Anonymous User wrote:if there are still 2L spots left (it doesn't say 0) does that mean lottery selections are still coming out? or are they all generally released at the same time/we're out of luck if we didn't get anything yet?

Did we get information on the interview location?
I got a schedule with room#s but don't know where the building is.

Re: Bay Area Diversity Fair 2015
I got my #1 bid through the lottery selection but got nothing from preselect or alternate. It indicates that chances are pretty slim to get the job and chances are pretty high that I am not an attractive candidate, right? I will have to fly to CA only to have this interview so have to make a tough decision. What do you think, guys?

So when do we know if we got the alternate spot or not?

Re: Bay Area Diversity Fair 2015
If it says "alternate accepted" does that mean we got the alternate spot unless there is a scheduling conflict? Or does everyone get "alternate accepted" even if you were, for example, the 5th person to accept out of 3 spots?
Next Tuesday the 14th according to the coordinator's email.Anonymous User wrote:So when do we know if we got the alternate spot or not?

I wonder if employers had some say in the lottery, because some people got a match while others did not?

Re: Bay Area Diversity Fair 2015
I'd like to think so, but pretty sure that's wishful thinking. A classmate of mine got a lottery pick with a firm she already has screener with through a different channel, which makes it seem highly unlikely the firm had any say in the BADCF lottery picking her (now she has to cancel the redundant BADCF interview).Anonymous User wrote:I wonder if employers had some say in the lottery, because some people got a match while others did not?

DLA Piper self identification email..
Are we required to submit that survey to be considered for an interview? I completely ignored it.

So I'm guessing that if a "scheduled for July 25th" link doesn't appear next to "alternate accepted" that means you didn't get it. =(Anonymous User wrote:Alternates are out.

Any alternate interviews you receive would actually be on the "Scheduled Interviews" tab.
