I'm assuming most people that are clearly interested in IP won't hear anything until after next week because firms would want to compare us with the Chicago people. I'm assuming because I haven't heard from any of the firms and they none of them are on the list either.

The only clear dings I've heard of are from Cooley. Everything else has just been assumed from others getting CBs.Anonymous User wrote:Last year dings went out Tuesday (looking at Cooley), anyone know of any so far?
Any hope of a couple more CBs coming in? Did people get more last year even after the first wave?

Do you know when the Cooley dings came out and for which room? They were through email, correct? Also, anyone know of STB dings?Anonymous User wrote:The only clear dings I've heard of are from Cooley. Re: Bay Area Diversity Fair 2015
It sounds like a good number of firms haven't notified any CBs yet. Is it common for most firms to not CB anyone from this fair (relying heavily instead on OCIs and attending this fair only to pick up truly exceptional and diverse candidates)? Or is the timeline just a bit slower this year compared to last's?

Re: Bay Area Diversity Fair 2015
Previous anon. Bit of both. From the list above, it seems like most are already out. I think badcf is more for the firms to steal the superstars, not for most people to woo firms. That's more for oci. That's why firms responded almost immediately. They want reel in the obvious candidates and get all that over with. Badcf is basically the first wave of oci's. The other thing to consider is that PLIP is today(this weekend). Almost all Bay Area firms are steeped into IP so they may want to compare us to the pool over there. So I'd expect next Monday-Wednesday most of badcf will wrap up. Then the dings will come in.

Nope, haven't heard from Morgan Lewis yet. I have a feeling CBs will go out today or Monday, though.
