Well, I suppose there are still eight more days in "early November"...

Re: California Attorney General Honors Program
Just scanned the old AG HP thread... looks like Nov 10 and Nov 14 18 were the past dates people rec'd emails notifying them of dings or making it to the next round. I'd REALLY like to know either way, because I recognize my hopes are unreasonably high right now.

wish you'd been right, but judging by the silence on here, it looks like the waiting continues.Anonymous User wrote:My money is on Friday -- I think we'll hear Friday late morning.

Re: California Attorney General Honors Program
I got my rejection November 14th of last year. It is coming.
What helped my sanity last year was to apply for jobs, put them in a list (so I knew what I had already applied to), but then proceed to forget all about it and just keep applying to more stuff.

Congratulations!! Let us know how it turns out. Best of luck. No idea about the differentiation. Sounds legitimate to follow-up on that without being an annoyance to them.Anonymous User wrote:anyone know if interview offers differentiate between the general HP and the solicitor's office? that is, i got an invitation to interview for the HP this afternoon but no word re: the earl warren gig. would i get a separate interview/ding for that?
Although I am sad for the rejection (I am poster above), I am grateful to know sooner than later. I am relieved and disappointed at the same time, quite a weird feeling.

Anon above; still nothing. Are they composing/sending out these emails one at a time or something?

Has anybody gotten that email that says, "you made it past the first round, we hope to let you know whether you have an interview by x-date" that they sent around last year?

Like the other posters, also waiting a response. Everyone I know that applied received a rejection yesterday. Other than the poster above, does anyone know someone that received an interview? Thinking we are on a waitlist of sorts.

if it's any comfort, anon above with interview here, and i emailed the office 48 hours ago w/ a question and haven't heard back. so it seems like things might be moving slowly over there in general.

^ you seem to be the only one who has heard about interviews, so maybe there is some ordering/timing thing with people who applied to the Earl Warren Program vs. people who just did the HP.
Apparently one of my references got a call, but I haven't heard anything on my end.

I need to ask for clarification, but it's possible she mixed up the agency/entity that contacted her.
