5 star meals on someone else's dime. We take people out to the nicest places and blow the budget and nobody cares. When summer program ends its back to seamless.

It's really firm dependent but on average it's probably NY>Chi>LA>SF>DC. It mostly correlates with scale of summer program. A lot of NY firms do multiple things per week and have more formal/favorable reimbursement policies for meals with associates. Some non-NY firms have some pretty awesome flagship events though.

If you meant anything other than social stuff and freebies for "treats SAs the best" then it's a pointless question.

My DC firm limits the days SAs can get lunch with associates AND limits to 30 bucks a head. That is shit.

Probably just so they have a limit. My firm has that too. Nobody abides by it.

2. Bro'ing out

3. Essentially free paycheck

4. Hitting on everything that moves in the evenings with the other SAs

5. Free great meals

6. Sick events

7. Still getting a month off before you 9 month 3L vacation.

nope, they wont reimburse beyond that at all. I submitted 120 for a lunch with 3 people and only got 90 reimbursed. Cheeeaaaap
