Read the last few posts and seems like my original question might still be relevant. Why not give lit a try? You might like it. I mean I've read through a lot of threads on here and anecdotally it seems like some people end up kind of enjoying Lit even at the biglaw level. OP could still hate that too and probably will, but seems like a shot. What does OP have to lose?

Its not like if OP continues doing transactional work that OP might not have to exit and continue doing that type of work anyway.
